CARE & Visitation

The letters CARE stand for Christ's Arms Reaching Eagerly to help meet the needs of our church family. This ministry was the vision of two women in our church family, Linda Wurgler and Ruth Stanley. There surely were others involved in its inception as well.  Its mission was simple and so appreciated- provide meals for someone who had a recent hospital stay or for a mom and dad who were taking their brand-new
baby home.

Today, the mission has expanded. We now have close to 30 volunteers on our CARE team who provide meals for those who could use this type of love gift. We also have provided special treat baskets, devotionals, gas dollars, or gas gift cards when such a need as arisen in our church family. Since October of 2024 through January of 2026, we have provided 52 love gifts for members of our church family.

We thank all our church family who contacts Karen Black or Rita Sveet or Pastor Mike about the needs within our church body. We always pray that no one is overlooked and that God would help us to see the needs where we can be a blessing.

Thank you to the women who had this vision and thank you to the allvolunteers that give a simple blessing in Jesus's name for His honor and glory.

Please know that if anyone else would like to be part of this small army of volunteers on our CARE team, we welcome and thank God for all of you. Just contact Karen Black and you can be part of this team.
